Oversized walking heads are a unique feature of New Orleans entertainment options. They are terrific living decor and fun for photos.  Each is hand made in the traditional Italian carnival style brought to New Orleans decades ago.  The family business still creates custom images for parades and events.  We offer large jesters, Brazilian dancers, Louis Armstrong and other famous New Orleans characters and historic characters.

Bring the fun and action of the casino to your next event with the strolling casino tables. These tables are made to be portable and are carried by our hostess who acts as the dealer. Guests can play a round of hands at their favorite blackjack games.

Caricature artists are some of the most popular talent options in New Orleans. This traditional New Orleans character is a fixture in and around Jackson Square. This is a perfect compliment for your New Orleans theme party.Drawings vary from caricatures to portrait style and each is different depending on the artist.

This is a new tech way to enjoy caricatures but in digital format. Guests get the artistic portrait but it is sent to their digital media site via email. The artist strolls the party and works off of a small hand held computer doing sketches of guests. These portraits are colorful and exaggerated images of the guests. Client will get all images of guests following the event if requested. There are a limited number of artists available.

Branded caricature artist paper is a great way to theme the event by creating a decorative backdrop.  It can also help for sponsors to get their logo out to guests. Caricature artist paper can be made by the artist or with our media department.

New Orleans connection with the Caribbean is strong. We incorporate the tradition of cigar rolling with the history of tobacco cultivation from Louisiana. Guests can watch a demonstration of hand rolling of cigars and can enjoy a sample cigar purchased by the client. Cigars are previously rolled and dried, the fresh cigars need about 2 weeks to cure.

These hand-rolled cigars are created here in Louisiana by cigar rollers from Cuba, The Dominican Republic and other Latin American countries. They are rolled and the cured for no less than 2 weeks. Cigars can be branded with a band that includes the logo of the company or the monogram of the wedding party. A variety of tobacco wrappers are available that range from darker to lighter to enhance the various flavors of the cigars.

These traditional 1940’s costumed cigarette girls wear red and gold costumes and hold boxes filled with give-away items provided by the client. They are wonderful ways to get information into guest’s hands or to relive the memories of times past. We recommend candies as a sweet treat for guests. 

This is fun for guests of all ages.  Skilled face painters can add creative sparks of color for your guests.  Leave the party with a work of art! We can provide more elaborate looks for smaller groups.

These iconic 1920’s girls are dressed in classic costumes of the time period.  A variety of colors are available and include a bit of fringe for a little swing.  Costumes traditionally include a feather headpiece and long gloves.  They can carry feather fans in various colors.  These are wonderful additions to any Speakeasy event.

The strolling flower girl is a great addition to any event that needs a delightful garden character.  This is great element for photos as well as to pass out items on our lucite tray. 

This glam station set up includes all that you need for this Hollywood moment. Each glam station includes a professional make up mirror with lighting, a sequin table linen and a directors chair.

Guests get to live their glamorous fantasy as our make-up artists add that sparkle they need for the night! The Glam Stations are based on a variety of options that can be customized for each event. Ask about the many options including Eye lashes, Glitter Pops and more.

Add sparkle to your event with our strolling glitter glam team!  Our girls or guys can stroll with lucite cigarette girl trays filled with venue friendly glitter or glamorous gemstones.  There are a wide variety of different costume options in various colors.

Create positivity at your event by passing out notes of encouragement and joy for guests to read. These can include conference themes or sponsor slogans. These are passed out by one of our models in a variety of available costumes.

Ask about matching robes and stole. New Orleans Gospel Choirs are legendary around the world. From huge crowds at Jazz Fest to packed churches that feature gospel choirs on Sunday, New Orleans has always been a hub for this unique style of music. There is nothing like the sound of a multi-person gospel choir in robes singing songs from their repertoire.

Lovely greeters are available to welcome guests, help at your event, promotions or to work the convention floor promoting your products. Both male and female greeters are available. 

Surprise your guests with cocktails served through the hedge wall. This living hedge wall can be branded for with the client logo or kept to look more like greenery with an option of various colorful flowers. Champagne, cocktails or other items are served through the wall, beverages provided by venue/caterer.

Our strolling ghost is dressed in historic attire and will stroll the room telling the story of the ghosts that still haunt Muriel’s. Ghosts include the proprietor of Muriels who lost his home in a game of craps and subsequently lost his life is Pierre Antoine Lepardi Jourdan. We pair him with the famous Baroness Pontalba, real estate tycoon who created the Pontalba Apartments on Jackson Square which were the first apartments in the United States. The Baroness lost her fingers after her father in law tried shooting her, but her whale bone corset saved her life.

Human Statues are deceivingly still and will have your guests wondering if these are real people or party decor.  We offer a variety of Human statues from white statues to the gold Joan Of Arc seen in the French Quarter

Celebrate your event with our costumed Jesterettes!  These models are costumed in dresses with large graduated sleeves.  They are available in blue, purple, pink, red, rose gold & Mardi Gras colors.

Talented painters create works of art right in front of your eyes. At the beginning of the event, the canvas is blank, but hours later, the artist has captured the essence of the event and illustrated it onto the canvas. Guests can view the progress of the painting through the night and see the piece coming together in front of their eyes. At the end of the night, the guest of honor or client will take this work of art home with them.

Learn about your personality with a “lipstick” reading.  Guests will apply a variety of colors of lipstick before kissing the “lipstick card” twice.  The reader will share what the lip imprint explains about the guest.  These are not just for women, men can also participate as well!

This is a terrific way to break the ice and to entertain smaller groups of guests. The strolling magician does sleight of hand tricks with cards and props. Magicians move around the room doing great tricks that always turn in to wonderful memories of the party. A variety of magicians are available whom have different styles of acts.

This tradition of "masking" has been featured on HBO's Treme. Exquisitely adorned Mardi Gras Indians work each year to create a new suit of feathers, sequins and hand beading. These Indians are unique to New Orleans and guests will flock to take photos of their exquisite costumes. A photo says 1,000 words.  Indians can be booked as a single Indian or in groups with some playing drums and doing a “call and repeat” which is traditional in the Mardi Gras Indians culture.

Our licensed massage therapists are the ideal addition to any event especially those with stressed out guests! The massage therapists traditionally set up “Chair Massage Stations” that guests can sit at in a relaxed position with head and neck supported. Therapists massage the head, neck and arms for increments of time based on number of guests and clients preferences

Do you want to add a unique “wow” moment at your next event.  Then have our mirror girl models for your next event.  These one of a kind costumes are exclusive to Gwendolyn Events and can be paired with a variety of headpieces from rosettes to feathers.

Mirror costumes are one of the most impressive and memorable costumes. They are made of an acrylic mirror with mirrors of various shapes, which are assembled in a way that gives the impression of broken glass. The mirror reflects the lights of night and the sun’s rays, so you can use it at any daytime and any event. Mirrorman can greet guests, be used for photo ops or dance at the event.

Gwendolyn Events will provide an onsite staff member to oversee the arrival, set up and performance of entertainers, décor, and other aspects of event production.  Staffing for entertainment will be onsite 1 hour prior to the event start time to meet with the client to discuss final logistics and entertainment location within the venue.  Staff will set up and stay onsite during the event to ensure that entertainment is performing to the contracted standards.

Highlight the magic of your event by adding a photographer to capture it all.  Each photographer brings their own personal style to the shoot.  Some specialize in corporate photography with experience in large group shots while others have more of an artistic eye capturing interesting angles of your event.   We can assist with pairing the best photographer to the most approximate event. 

These artists traditionally set up in Jackson Square and are terrific fun for guests to enjoy at any event. Readings are about 5-7 minutes in length. Readers can do about 10 guests per hour. Please call for help in planning the best number of readers for your event. It is best if readers are stationed in a quiet place. Readers will each need a small table with basic linens and 2-3 chairs.

These handmade costumes are exclusive to Gwendolyn Events.  These large rose headpieces are paired with a uniquely colorful jumpsuit.  Each costume is monochromatic in either gold, silver or red.  The rosette headpieces also lights up and can be paired with a pair of LED wings for a full LED costume.

Lovely ladies are costumed in feather head pieces and glamorous showgirl outfits with sequins and jewels. They stroll the party taking photos with guests and giving an elegance of living decor.

Stilt walkers are a fabulous way to incorporate the theme of the party into living decor. Stilt walkers rise high above the guests’ heads and are perfect character markers for parades or outdoor events. They are well placed at the event entrance as they greet guests upon arrival.

Guests will be instantly transported to a VIP experience as they walk down the red carpet. But this is no normal red carpet…at the end of the red carpet guests will see that the carpet is actually part of the model’s dress. She stands a top an elevated platform to give a more pronounced statuesque image of our glamorous model. This is truly a VIP experience. Red Carpets also available seperately
